Learn the basics of the electric bass!
I can teach you how to:

I don't teach you to play a particular "style". I help you get started so that you understand what you're playing - and then you can apply your skills to whatever style suits you.

Lessons are one hour weekly and held in East Vancouver. Each lesson is $30/hr and purchased in groups of 4 lessons ($120). I ask you to commit to four lessons because I find students are more diligent about practicing between lessons, and reinforcing what they learn - and of course, progress only comes with practice! Gift certificates are also available.

My background

Over the course of my life I have played piano, cello, violin, clarinet and keyboards, but the electric bass is the instrument that feels like home to me. I am the bassist for local band ARCTIC, with whom I've toured across Canada multiple times and played North by Northeast Festival in Toronto. I also write and perform songs for solo bass and voice.
